Friends,
I am at loss of words to write about this humble guy Kalyan Raman Janakiraman who passed away Yesterday (Feb 11, 2007) at about 3:30 PM due to massive heart attack in Riyadh. He was just 32 and survived by Wife and a 4 yr daughter.
Kalyan, is my colleague at office (Samba Technology, Samba Financial Group) and we became close over these 9 years and used to share a lot of intellectual space. He was an expert in many platforms and a techie to the core. Apart from all these he was a very humble personality, ever smiling and one of the friendliest characters that one can come across.
He is aTamilian from Chennai and is the founder of the Original Tamil Blogs Portal - ThenKoodu.com which is more than 2 years old and has its own place in Tamil blogosphere. It has more than 2000+ members and 1300+ blogs listed.
He is the key inspiration and the key driving force behind Thenegoodu.com also. It is a great loss to the community here in Riyadh, personally to me as well as to Telugu Web Community.
Just to note that we had plans for Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali blog portals this year. These were his "dreams" and hope they will come true in the blogosphere by someone, sometime in future.
I end this mail here with prayers for his soul to rest at peace and strength to his family.
